Account Settings
Configure your account preferences, security settings, and personal information.
Accessing Account Settings
Navigate to: Profile Menu (top-right) > Account Settings

Profile Information
Basic Details
Personal Information:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo
- Display preferences

Updating Profile:
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Modify fields
- Upload photo (optional)
- Click "Save Changes"
Contact Preferences
Communication Settings:
- Preferred email
- Phone for SMS (if enabled)
- Language preference
- Time zone
- Date/time format

Security Settings
Password Management
Change Password:
- Go to Security tab
- Click "Change Password"
- Enter current password
- Enter new password (min 8 characters)
- Confirm new password
- Save changes

Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one number
- Special characters recommended
- Cannot match email
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Enable 2FA:
- Go to Security > Two-Factor Authentication
- Click "Enable 2FA"
- Choose method:
- Authenticator app (recommended)
- SMS text message
- Email codes
- Follow setup instructions
- Save backup codes

Using 2FA:
- Enter password as usual
- Enter 6-digit code from authenticator
- Option to "Trust this device" for 30 days

Active Sessions
View and manage active login sessions:
Session Information:
- Device type
- Browser
- Location (approximate)
- Last activity
- IP address

Actions:
- Sign out session: Remotely log out
- Sign out all: Log out everywhere except current
- View session history
Login History
Review past login attempts:
- Successful logins
- Failed attempts
- Location and device
- Date and time

Notification Settings
Email Notifications
Configure which emails you receive:
Reservation Notifications:
- ✓ New reservation received
- ✓ Reservation confirmed
- ✓ Reservation cancelled
- ✓ No-show occurred
- ✓ Special requests submitted

Review Notifications:
- ✓ New review received
- ✓ Customer responded to your reply
- ✓ Review requires moderation

Choose digest frequency:
- Real-time (as they happen)
- Hourly summary
- Daily digest (8am)

Privacy Settings
Data Sharing
Control your data:
- Share usage analytics (helps improve platform)

Export Your Data
Request data export:
- Go to Privacy > Export Data
- Select data to include:
- Profile information
- Venue details
- Reservation history
- Reviews and ratings
- Analytics data
- Click "Request Export"
- Receive email with download link (within 30 days)

Delete Account
Account Deletion:
- Go to Privacy > Delete Account
- Review consequences:
- Venues will be deactivated
- Data will be permanently deleted
- Active reservations will be cancelled
- Subscriptions will be cancelled
- Confirm with password
- Account deleted within 30 days
Billing & Subscription
