The review system allows customers to share their dining experiences and helps venues:

  • Build trust with potential customers
  • Receive valuable feedback
  • Improve service quality
  • Increase visibility in search results

How Reviews Work

Review Collection Process

  1. Booking Completion: Guest finishes their meal, reservation is marked complete
  2. Review Request: Automatic email sent (configurable timing)
  3. Customer Submits: Guest rates experience and writes review
  4. Moderation: Review appears pending approval (if enabled)
  5. Published: Review goes live on venue page
  6. Response: Venue can respond to review

Rating System

Customers rate on 5-star scale for:

  • Overall Experience: General satisfaction
  • Food Quality: Taste, presentation, temperature
  • Service: Staff friendliness and attentiveness
  • Atmosphere: Ambiance and cleanliness
  • Value for Money: Price vs. quality

Viewing Reviews

Access Reviews

Navigate to: Venue Management > All Venues > Reviews

Review Dashboard

Overview includes:

  • Average Rating: Overall venue rating (1-5 stars)
  • Total Reviews: Number of reviews received
  • Rating Distribution: Breakdown by star rating
  • Recent Reviews: Latest customer feedback
  • Pending Reviews: Awaiting moderation
  • Response Rate: Percentage of reviews with venue response

Managing Reviews

Review Details

Each review shows:

  • Customer name (or anonymous if preferred)
  • Star ratings for each category
  • Written review text
  • Photos (if customer uploaded)
  • Date of visit
  • Verification badge (confirmed diner)
  • Response status

Filtering Reviews

Filter by:

  • Rating: All, 5-star, 4-star, 3-star, 2-star, 1-star
  • Status: Published, Pending, Flagged, Hidden
  • Date Range: Last week, month, year, custom
  • Has Response: Responded or not responded
  • Verified: Confirmed diners only
